Bacon-Broccoli Pasta Fry

Reduced fat bacon pieces are combined with broccoli and garlic, and tossed with cooked pasta such as spaghetti.
 

Ingredients

  • 12 strips lower-fat bacon, cut into 1" pieces
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 cups finely chopped broccoli
  • 4 cups cooked spaghetti (or other pasta)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Over medium-high heat, cook bacon pieces until cooked through, but not crisp. Add garlic and broccoli; stir-fry until broccoli is bright green. Reduce heat slightly and add pasta. Continue stir-frying until pasta is heated through and well-mixed with other ingredients. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

 

Notes: This is a great recipe for use with leftover pasta.
