French toast, but even better because it's made with crossiants and served with fresh berries.

Ingredients

  • 1 dozen large crossiants
  • 6 eggs
  • Milk
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp of vanilla
  • Non stick spray
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fresh berries
  • Flavored syrup

Method

Slice crossiants in half. Mix eggs, a splash of milk, dash of cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl. Place crossiants on a cookie sheet and brush both sides with egg batter; do not over saturate. Saute crossiants in a skillet with butter (on low) for 2 to 3 minutes or till golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. Remove and place in oven to keep warm. Arrange on plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar and berries. Serve with syrup if desired.
