Low-Fat Breakfast Oranges and Almonds

There's almost no fat in this mixture of mandarin orange segments, yogurt & almond extract, (except for a little "healthy" fat from the almonds.)
 

Ingredients

  • 2, 11-oz. cans mandarin oranges, drained (and chilled, if desired)
  • 1, 8-oz. container low-fat or nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (or to taste)
  • 1, 2-oz. package sliced almonds

Method

Mix all ingredients in large bowl. (May chill overnight.)

 

Notes: I keep the oranges in the refrigerator and simply combine the mixture when needed and serve right away.
